The Knight's Tour: a minor set of updates


Hello, Lancers!

Like many single-person-projects, the field guide to Umbra has been a massive rollercoaster of work, and probably one of the favorite creative endeavors I’ve ever gotten to work on, bar none. 

I am exhausted and slow as a one-man band, which you may have noticed due to the lack of updates. I am, happily, starting a campaign on Umbra with some friends of mine! While the game will remain for enjoyment over playtesting, it will feed me constant inspiration to work with when writing Umbra’s history and culture, as well as some of the unique factions! There may even be new threats looming over the horizon… For now though, we have finally got something these two manufacturers have been missing for a while: Emblems! One for each manufacturer. They’re both subject to change, but I am pretty confident about TRIC’s emblem at a minimum. Additionally, there are a few changes as I clean up the LCP’s expressing on Comp//Con, like realizing I forgot to standardize the Fae-Killer’s damage… Now collectively 1d6+1. Expect a lot of damage changes in the future as I learn to stop using 1d6+2 for so many things, holy shit

On to a different matter, though.  At some point, specialty licenses will have coded LL-for-manufacturer requirements like Field Guide to Suldan. However, I am not yet competent enough for that so it kind of remains a pipe dream.

 Exotics are probably on the way for some reworks, but those come with campaign progress! 
 Shoutouts to Breebird, BambooRocket, PersonMan_Reborn, and RedXiya for being willing to enjoy the comedy of errors that will inevitably ensue from all this.
